Behavioural Therapist Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings, utilizing intensive teaching and natural-environment training methods.
2. Implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
3. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
4. Assist with parent and caregiver training according to the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
5. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about client progress.
6. Employ safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
7. Maintain client confidentiality.
8. Support Lead Behavioral Technicians, Behavior Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists by preparing client materials as instructed.
9. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
10. Collaborate with the treatment team, including clients, parents, caregivers, and external professionals.
11. Enhance and update technical knowledge by attending required training sessions.
