Aerostructure Engineering Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot various aspects of the airframe and structural components of a drone both in the office and on the field
2. Contributes to the design, manufacturing, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products
3. Studies proposed projects to assess safety and feasibility
4. Evaluates designs with regard to engineering principles, customer requirements and environmental regulations
5. Produces and present prototypes and models for proposed designs
6. Conducts tests on prototypes and models
7. Inspects damaged or malfunctioning products to determine the problem and propose solutions
8. Determine costs for financial feasibility
9. Assists in the production of manuals and troubleshooting guides for the finished product
10. Coordinate with other teams to ensure standards and timelines are met
11. Contributes to the efforts of the organization by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Who can apply:

1. Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical disciplines
2. Basic knowledge of designing software & ANSYS software and Aircraft structures and fabrication using composites
3. Detail-oriented, deadline sensitive, and able to work effectively in a team setting
4. Excellent problem-solving and good communication skills
5. Additional preference will be given if one can operate hand and power tools, soldering, and fault-testing equipment
